Scott P. Moore, Baird Holm, LLP
Scott P. Moore is widely recognized for his experience in fair housing law and litigation. Scott is a former senior trial attorney with the U. S. Department of Justice. He served as lead counsel on some of the largest pattern or practice cases brought by the United States under the Fair Housing Act against developers of multifamily housing, property management companies, and senior housing providers. Scott now brings his expertise into the private sector to assist housing providers comply with the complex array of requirements under the Fair Housing Act, the ADA, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Scott also provides fair housing, ADA, and Section 504 training across the country to housing providers and national organizations. Scott has also lectured at conferences sponsored by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the National Council of State Housing Agencies, American Association for Housing and Services for the Aging, Multi-Housing World, National Affordable Housing Management Association, Harvard University, and the University of Illinois School of Law. Scott is a member of the Core Legal Committee for the American Association of Housing and Services for the Aging.
Scott is married and the father of twin daughters. He serves on the Board of Directors of the AllPlay Foundation, Family Housing Advisory Services and the Good Neighbor Foundation.
